Client has a requirement to develop an Authoring Tool to help their customers to build engaging, world class e-Learning courses. This will be web based HTML5 and flash compatible authoring system. This will offer environment with no programming for creating world class interactive eLearning courses. These courses developed using authoring tool would be publishable on the web, Learning Management Systems (LMS), tablets, smart phones and other devices.

The main objectives are:

• To develop leading authoring tool for Instructional Designers, trainers, subject matter experts and other e-learning creators worldwide.
• To make users create world class courses with no programming.
• Even users with no page design experience should be able to create visually appealing courses with Authoring Tool.
• Standards compliant eLearning courses

All kinds of eLearning courses can be created using this Authoring Tool. When Course is developed and ready, author publishes the course. The result of publishing is ZIP-package, which is structured
according to selected e-Learning standard’s Content Aggregation Model (CAM). This package contains all necessary course files and metadata files, which contain information on Course structure.

The packaged course will be deployed in the Learning Management System (LMS). When user takes the course, course communicates with LMS using corresponding e-Learning standard’s Run-Time Environment (RTE). Course stores its state in LMS storage and restores state on continued approaches.
